Southern Lakes Windriders news October 2015

Just a quick update from the AGM last week on a few important points for the coming season. I will send out the formal minutes tomorrow to the database.
CLUB FEES: these are now $40.00, benefits include the use of the club gear, access to Jardines and the use of the new anemometer in GY that the club has fully funded a big thank you to George for setting this up. Please bear in mind that for the $40.00 that you spend joining the club for those of you that sail at GY you will agree that you now wont be wasting money on petrol and will have a better indication of conditions.
OPEN DAY: scheduled for the 7th of November at Frankton beach all assistance is appreciated and a BIG THANK YOU to Sue for running this each year.
TRAINER KITE: This can now be used by all however an experienced kiteboarder must be in charge whilst teaching.
EVENTS: Open day as above, GY event (fun day with racing) date TBC Thank you to Sue for all of the work that went in to the last event. Calender to follow in emails.
JARDINES: access road has changed you can no longer go across the field after the cattle stop you will need to follow the road around the field. Only one gate now so please ensure this is chained after entry. Memberships must be paid to use this site!!
Guys this is a brief overview more to follow in the emails. Please rememeber to pay your membership for the season there are some great benefits for all level of abilities and with the addition of the GY anemometer added value for the advanced sailors and kiters in the region.
