Super windy conditions test this years competitors yesterday The day started of with a light drenching of liquid Taranaki sunshine and glassy conditions as the early birds rocked up the the Oakura Boardriders club rooms for registration and briefing. After a bit of a chat the doors opened and we all helped Roger from Rogers Dental Studio load the 70+ entry packs stoked full of Colgate products and other goodies inside. But the real ooogeling began when the Carbon Art boards came out of the back of the van. Two lovely wave boards and a brand new Carbon Art SUP.

25-27 October 2008 This is it, TWC is on this weekend! We have some great product sponsors again this year. Thanks to Naish, Gaastra, Windsurfing Hawaii, Maui Sails, Seventh Wave, Ezzy, and Zimmos. Once again Carbon Art will be offering the chance to win a Carbon Art board worth $3000, and we also have an outside industry sponsor in the form of Rodgers Dental Studio in Auckland, and Deepfried.TV have also committed their support towards making this another event to go down in the history books.

Only a few weeks to go before the 2008 TWC kicks off! Pre-Registrations are all most closed so get in quick!!!

The Taranaki Wave Classic is over for another year, with 76 entrants heading back home, tired muscles and a happy glow that only a full weekends sailing can supply. Continuing on with the long history of events held in Taranaki, the weather delivered some classic conditions.
