Canterbury Windsports Assn AGM 2019

Wed 11 Sep 2019
The Good Home, Ferrymead

Winter might be running late, but the CWA committee is busy making plans for the new season and keeping an eye on developments in 'our' places.

The 2019-20 calendar of events will be available at the AGM in September, including new events such as 'park-style' kiting at the estuary and foiling on the harbour. Also, the CWA will again be hosting the New Zealand Windsurf Slalom Nationals in Lyttelton, from the 8th to the 12th of January 2020 - more to come.

Running a safe and secure event

A successful event will offer the attendees, staff and volunteers a positive experience and ensure they are safe and secure.
Events come in many different sizes and cover a wide range of activities. Whether your event is small or large, there are commonalities in the planning process. As the event organiser, you are responsible for planning the event and ensuring it complies with relevant laws and procedures.
