Merry Christmas

2013 has been another classic year for me. It began with some great sailing around Wanaka and Queenstown, continued with yet another classic National Slalom event in Dunedin followed by a long mild autumn and moderate winter in Wellington, broken by 2 weeks on Maui (my first time). This season kicked off in style with the great Tauranga Fun Racing weekend, the Taranaki Wave Classic, and the recent Wellington Slalom Plus.

Windsurfing NZ AGM 2014

Fri 7 Feb 2014
Dunedin

The AGM will be during the National Slalom event in Dunedin - exact time and location to be confirmed closer to the date. (typically scheduled for soon after racing on the Friday- if racing is not run then AGM will be advanced to allow everyone to get away earlier)
We are looking for feedback and ideas, as well as new blood if anyone is keen, all positions are open.

Race Rules - to be applied for all events unless specifically superseded by NOR or event manager

Race Series Rules - currently being drafted but based on the Maui Race Series Rules (copy attached). These rules begin ...
SPORTSMANSHIP AND SAFETY
Racers will conduct themselves to ensure the safety of other racers. They will do nothing to endanger other racers, and will sacrifice their rights under these rules to avoid dangerous situations. This principle takes precedence over all racing rules.

With several of New Zealands top racing windsurfers coming to Wellington to test themselves and their new equipment the capital had to deliver, and it didn’t disappoint.
