Last night I had a dream

I went to see a premiere of a movie about Olympic windsurfing on the silver screen. I met all my friends from the past. People I had never met before approached me with lots of questions about Olympic windsurfing. They were amazed by all the beautiful places I visited, famous windsurfers from all over the world I knew and called my friends. I saw the report from the latest world cup race the following day on my favorite sport channel and received the latest DVD from the previous world cup season later that day. 2008 RS:X Youth World Championship
The RS:X Youth World Championship will take place from December 7th to 14th in Pattaya, Thailand and is being organised by the Eastern Windsurfing Club. The NoR is being finalised now as is the travel and hotel deal so stay tuned and we’ll get back to you asap.

2008 RS:X Youth European Championship
The RS:X Youth European Championship is set for Mondello, Sicily, Italy and the dates are July 25th - August 2nd. The organisers are the Albaria Windsurfing Club so it should be a good event. The NoR has been posted at http://www.rsxclass.com/documents.htm

Moscow or Singapore for the 2010 Youth Olympics?
Moscow and Singapore were chosen through a postal vote by the Executive Board of the IOC last week, and will now be submitted to a postal vote by the IOC members. The winning city will be announced by IOC President Jacques ROGGE in a live web cast on www.olympic.org provisionally scheduled for 21 February. Read the rest of this entry

Olympic sailing fears dismissed

The man overseeing this year’s Olympic sailing has played down concerns that conditions at the Qingdao venue could turn medal events into a lottery. GB team manager Stephen Park believes light winds could limit the number of races and make results unpredictable.
