Its just $40 per year to become a member of Windsurfing New Zealand – that’s nothing compared to what you spend on gear!
But for the 2010-2011 season if you join an affiliated club then membership is free, including sail numbers!
So what is Windsurfing New Zealand is all about?
- It represents the interests and needs of our windsurfing members as a national body.
- Co-ordinates, assists and notifies members of national and local events & competitions.
- Promotes the profile of windsurfing in New Zealand.
- Windsurfing New Zealand is affiliated to the International Windsurfing Association (IWA), allowing our sailors to compete in International events organized by the IWA & ISAF.
- Keeps its members up to date with what is happening in the windsurf scene via our Website @ www.windsurfingnz.org & regular emails.
- Administers the allocation of race numbers.
- Provides information on Local Clubs, Certified Instructors, Schools, & availability of Instructor courses.
You can join up online - just register on the site, leave enough details for us to contact you and indicate that you wish to join Windsurfing NZ (see memberships section). If you are a member of an affiliated club then we will verify your membership. Otherwise you will need to pay the normal membership fee - see the forms below for payment options.
The membership form can be downloaded either as Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.
Note: You should also use the membership form to renew your existing membership.
