THE EVENT
The Auckland Freestyle Champs is a comp designed to promote freestyle in the Auckland area and nationwide in a fun environment.

As Auckland conditions don’t allow any wave events the freestyle format was chosen to push the maneuver–skill-levels of the competitors to new heights.
But that doesn’t mean that you have to be an expert to participate. Everyone is welcome and if a jibe is the most radical maneuver you can do, that’s fine as long as you do it with a big smile on your face! You might get inspired by tricks that other riders perform and try one yourself.
