Wellington Harbour Festival

The following weekend sees the Wellington Ocean Water Sports Centre organising a “Get on the Harbour Day” for Wellingtonians on the Saturday of Waitangi Weekend. People will be able to come down to the Sailing Academy in Oriental Bay and have a go at kayaking, waka ama, sailing, stand up paddle boards, windsurfing and surf paddle boards. Clubs and companies such as Canoe and Kayak, Wild Winds, Windsurfing New Zealand, Tunui a te Ika Waka Ama Club and Maranui Surf Life Saving Club will be out in force on the day.
