NZ Team report on windsurfing progress at Techno 293 Worlds, Sopot, Poland

Last couple of days have delivered some leveling results for the New Zealand team. Competing at this level for this period of time is providing all with a much greater appreciation of the basics, "speed, height, and tactics".
Xanthe is the Kiwis best performer consistently placing in the top 5 in all of her races. " go Xanthe"
Finn Croft is finding his footing and after posting better finishes climbed back up the field to make the gold fleet. In light airs he should improve, currently placed 58th. Some consistent placings would have placed Harrison in the gold fleet but just missed out, he now lies 6th in the Silver fleet performing best in the strong conditions.
A much better day for Fenella, Lauren, and Coral all three working on confident starts and strategic decisions around the course in difficult conditions. All three are closely placed in the top 20 of the silver fleet.
This morning "day 3" is looking to be light and possibly shifty so will demand high concentration and lots of pumping.
