Kiwis prominent in Quicksilver Cup

A quick update from Annie Crombie ‎on kiwis competing in Hawaii at present - great perfomances at all elevels, especially youth. 7 kiwis in Maui racing in the quicksilver cup. Laurence Carey 7 th in men's open 19 to 39 years. He was 8 th in the pro b
Peter John 10th in men 19-39 and 9 th in pro b. Tom McGregor 2nd Junior on wave gear and under powered 5 th in expert grade.
Joe McGregor th Junior raced in junior and 7 th in advanced. First ever windsurf race and only just 14. Whole beach clapped him in.
Another youth Sam Thomas from Auckland 3 rd Junior and 2 nd in expert.

Paul Vlietstra 7 th in men 40 to 49.
This has Micah Buzianis 1 st , Phil McGain 2nd so a talented fleet
Also 7 th in pro b
Tim wood 9 th in semi pro and 9 th in age 50-59
Annie Crombie 2 nd in advanced and 4 th in women's
Isaac DeVries who came to nationals and took 2 nd also took 2 nd in men's 19-39 He was 3 rd in pro b
Mark Boersma who came to NZ Slalom nationals aged 18 in 2008 came 3 rd men 19-39 he was 5 th in pro A
Thought we should share how many kiwis sailing in Maui series. Terry Alkemade was here for hot sails grand Prix and da kine classic.
See the link on Maui series. Best news is the numbers we have in youth and 19-39 so future is good. Biggest women's fleet in a long time in the hot sails grand Prix.
