Teenage Coaching Positions at Point Chevalier
Junior sailing at Point Chevalier Sailing Club has been in operation since 2009 and has been growing steadily ever since. In term one there were 70 sailors involved in after school/work sailing.

Chris Mitchell from the Club explains that inevitably there is some administration work to organise all the groups and coaches and the Yacht Club are taking registrations now.

“Part of this is to organise the coaching groups and while we have great support from parents, nearly all of whom are club instructors too, the Club is also looking to hire a few teenage sailors who can work in with the adults to help deliver the coaching.”

If this could be YOU for an after-school job on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday and you have a way of getting to Point Chevalier the Club would really like you to get in touch and keep in touch. Send an email with your contacts and your parent’s contacts to

“We are not sure how many groups/days/kids we will have in term 4, but it would be good to have all the options and no commitment is required just yet. As well as week day coaching, there could also be weekend work opportunities,” says Mitchell.
