Busy weekend in Tauranga and Auckland for windsurfing!

Tauranga Fun Racing

At last a solid forecast for the weekend.
We will start setting up for some fun racing this Saturday 10am at Kulim Park. On water by 11am for practice starts and racing.
A mix of racing to suit those on the water and the weather.
* Beach start - gybe - gybe - gybe - finish
* Beach start and then 1st across the line. no corners.
* Timed Flying starts - Gybe - Gybe - finish
* Maybe a GPS speed challenge

All racing to be doable and fun. Regular briefing and tactics sessions.

If we have headed out when you arrive then read the briefing board on the shore, sign you name and come and find me in the red powerboat. Ill fill you in on any changes and tactics.

Auckland Slalom Series!

This is to update you on the upcoming race day plans. The dip in wind we are seeing on swellmap on Sunday seems to be shifting out of the tail end of sunday as each day progresses. So whilst a few days ago Sunday looked like a nice day for fishing, it seems to be getting better by the minute. We have a large RIB organised as the start boat and Techno/RSX sailors are keen to join. There also are some out of town superstars of slalom racing in town. As a result we will keep a decision to race pending until Saturday. Given the size of the boat and prospect of an early start to get the best winds, combined with HT at noon we are likely to be at Bayswater.
