My thing is competitive windsurfing - To share my passion, commitment and dedication to freestyle and wave windsurfing with the whole of New Zealand.

The nature of my goal
Windsurfing is what I do, what I love and who I am. Windsurfing gives me freedom. Since taking up the sport of windsurfing a few years ago it has changed the course of my life forever. It drives what I do, what I want to achieve and where I want to go. It has taught me about places I had otherwise never heard of and introduced me to people from every corner of the world. Windsurfing is a sport for every type of person; adventurous, cautious, young and old there is something for everyone. I want to change the perception of windsurfing in New Zealand and encourage more people to get involved in a hugely diverse sport. Vote now

What a timing….. the weekend of 29/30 May was the last one for the standby period set for the 2010 Auckland Freestyle Champs. The AWA end of season prize-giving party was also on for Sat 29 May. So this was the last chance to run the comp in time to hand out the trophy at the party. After two “no-go’s” the previous weekends where the forecast didn’t hold what it promised we decided to try it again. Third time lucky!
