Only a few days until the National Slalom entry fee goes up!

Another reminder that there is only 11 working days (days that the bank will be open), until the end of this month.

At the end of this month the fee for entry into the New Zealand Slalom Nationals will be increasing to $175.00 so be in quick to save yourself a few bucks.

Notice of Race and Entry forms have been updated again - age group clarifications this time. Please note the time based graduated entry fees - i.e. $150 - $175 - $200 these times/dates and fees will be strictly enforced this year. http://windsurfingnz.org/content/2012-new-zealand-slalom-nationals

Update - 2012 New Zealand Slalom Nationals

Notice of Race and Entry forms have been updated - major change is to the maximum number of races per day especially relating to the women and silver fleet being half of the amount that the Mens maximum is now. South Island Cup Round 1 next weekend

The South Island Cup Round 1 is scheduled for weekend of 26 and 27 November in Christchurch. Even if you've never raced before get along and join in, its a great way to improve your gybes! The event will run on Lyttelton Harbour in the first instance. Naval Point Yacht Club is engaged to help set the course, lay the buoys, man the start boat and also provide a rescue craft. BBQ afterwards and an invitation to have a drink at the yacht club. (Round 2 is scheduled for weekend of 3 and 4 December in Dunedin)

INTRODUCTION
This is an 18 hour course. This allows full content of course to be learned and practiced thoroughly before Instructors gain their qualification and teach 'real' students, and for the course timetable to be tailored to make the best of the weather and tide conditions.

Big Glenorchy Fun Weekend, 18-19 February - more details

18-19 February. Please find attached a leaflet about the fun weekend coming up, do make an effort to come along, it should be great to get together and we're trying to put on lots of activities to keep you entertained and hopefully to give you some of you a chance to try something new, buy something new (or old), or to learn something new. Please tell your friends and print off the leaflet and put it up wherever you can. We do want this to happen at Glenorchy, so if there isn't a NW due it will probably get postponed to the following weekend. So keep in touch.

Last few days for early bird registration for National Slaloms

If you haven't registered by the end of December the price goes up and the goodies go down. "No Exceptions"
We need to know the number attending so that we can organise it properly. Too many times we have struggled with only having 15 or so entries right up until the last week or so which leaves the organisers in a huge panic trying to sort out entry packs and trophies and meal table bookings etc etc etc.
