Fri 17 Dec 2021 - Sat 18 Dec 2021
Tauranga

Save the Date & Register Now
With our new earlier date of 17-18 September, we're expecting it to be windier which will hopefully offset the fact that it will be colder too. Unfortunately the tides and date clashes meant we couldn't book our event for the usual Oct/Nov timing so get prepared and get yourself registered today!

Racing fleets will include (you can change during the event if you like):

Bronze - For our Cadets and any other sailors not quite ready to go Silver.

Tauranga Harbour Jam - Still on with conditions

Update: We are still going ahead with plans to run the event on the 26th-27th March 2022. However, things are a little different now that we are in the Red level.
Everyone involved must be vaccinated, including all volunteers. So we will be scanning your vaccine passes when you enter the event area.
We will require everyone to scan the QR code when you enter the event area
We need everyone to try and uphold the 1m social distancing rules for outdoor gatherings

Tauranga Harbour Jam 2020

Sat 7 Dec 2019 - Sun 8 Dec 2019
Tauranga

Tauranga Windsurfers need your support - Kulim Park under threat.

One of the key roles of Windsurfing NZ is to advocate for our windsurfers on various issues, it can get a bit lonely at times so having national scrutiny and support is important. Read the concerns they have about the proposed changes, then let the council know that it matters, that the outside is watching.

2016 Tauranga Spring Windsurf Weekend
If you haven’t registered yet then all you need to so is email peter@elementswatersports.co.nz and let me know.
Entries are limited so if you are keen then just let me know.
You can all check the forecast and know how much to trust them a week out. Mine is showing good winds on fri and sat with fluff on the Sunday. On the plus side the N-NE-E direction will mean racing from Kulim Park. Long reaches in mostly waist to shoulder deep water. Gear can be left rigged overnight in our boat shed.
